Structural Insulated Panels and Cementitious Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs and CSIPs) 

FAS believes that SIPs and CSIPs have a key role to play in the development of new housing stock that is safe, efficient and affordable.  This page serves repository for information and reports we have written and gathered relating to SIPs and their utility.

SIP Background Information and Research.  Background information on SIP panels and how they are utilized in construction as well as SIP research carried out by FAS and our partners.

SIP Testing.  The Building Technologies Program and our partners have performed numerous evaluations of SIPs and CSIPs in order to determine their suitability for building, including strength tests and seismic and fire evaluations.
